SOS THE AMERICAS
On October 23 2009 the famous Torch Of Life was lit in Wasilla, Alaska. It was the start of 2 year journey that ends up in Argentina October 24 2011. During this journey thousands of students will carry the Torch from almost 300 cities in 36 countries of the Americas. Together, with the community, media and all levels of Government, these student torch champions will bring organ & tissue donations to the forefront and hopefully help save many lives

Hours before the liting of the Torch Students that chosen from Gordon Bell school got infected by the H1N1 Flu. In this challenging situation, we brought the Torch in downtown Winnipeg at Earl's Restaurant, looking for someone to carry the Torch to the Manitoba Legislative Building. The lucky person who volunteered was Dave Hagman
