SOS THE AMERICAS
On October 23 2009 the famous Torch Of Life was lit in Wasilla, Alaska. It was the start of 2 year journey that ends up in Argentina October 24 2011. During this journey thousands of students will carry the Torch from almost 300 cities in 36 countries of the Americas. Together, with the community, media and all levels of Government, these student torch champions will bring organ & tissue donations to the forefront and hopefully help save many lives

Montpelier High School

On February 4, the Torch arrived at the Vermont State House. Mr Brooke Pearson and students from Montpelier High School joined to begin the activies. The Torch was lit on the grounds of the State House and it was carried proudly through the heart of Montpelier by the students.
