About Arthur J. Noël II
Arthur J. Noël II was born on Aug. 10, 1948.  He was born to Maurice and Olivette Noël as the youngest of five children in Nashua, NH.  Arthur graduated from Bishop Guertin High School, attended the University of New Hampshire, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Hesser College. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served as Corporal in Vietnam War in 1969 and 1970. He was married to Linda Noël Fairbanks in 1971 and was the loving father of three children, Christopher, Timothy, and Jessica.  Arthur was a golf and sailing enthusiast who devoted his life to his faith and family which is evident in his achievements. He was actively involved in Catholic education groups and charities, the Marine Corps League, and other organizations. Arthur believed that community and family were developed through tireless efforts of charity and involvement and lived his life by that example. He was a conscientious blood donor and a strong advocate for organ and tissue donation.  Arthur died on June 11, 1995 at the young age of 47 but he lives on through this very self-sacrificing cause.  After his death, his family received many letters of thanks for his organ donations. Cornea transplants, skin grafts for burn victims, and the use of his aorta are only a few examples of how his donations have affected and saved the lives of several donor recipients.  His example now lives on through his wife and children who all support the organ and tissue donor program.
