SOS THE AMERICAS
On October 23 2009 the famous Torch Of Life was lit in Wasilla, Alaska. It was the start of 2 year journey that ends up in Argentina October 24 2011. During this journey thousands of students will carry the Torch from almost 300 cities in 36 countries of the Americas. Together, with the community, media and all levels of Government, these student torch champions will bring organ & tissue donations to the forefront and hopefully help save many lives

Cathedral High School

On February 12, 2010, the Torch Of Life arrived in Springfield MA at the City Hall. Mayor Domenic J Sarno was there to greet the Students from Cathedral High School. One of the students Mark, filmed the event and another shared her story about her mom recieving a kidney transplant. The kids carried the Torch to St. Michael's Catherdal where it was a very fitting ending to a great event
